The health of our ecosystems and the wellbeing of humanity are deeply intertwined. Whether we acknowledge it or not, we are intimately connected to the Earth, and its suffering impacts us on both physical and emotional levels. Just as pollution clogs the air we breathe, it also weighs on our hearts. In Chinese Medicine, the lungs—governors of our breath—are linked to the emotion of grief, holding the weight of both personal and collective loss.
In this time of unprecedented environmental destruction, you may find yourself grieving for the loss of forests, the drying rivers, and the extinction of species. Perhaps anxiety over the future—for your children, for humanity—has filled your heart. This space is designed for you to feel these emotions fully, to honor them, and to breathe through them, so that we may move forward together with renewed clarity, strength, and hope.
Our Breath, Our Planet: A Journey Through Climate Grief
The Flow
At the start of the 65 minute call we will gather as a global community welcoming, sharing, and setting the space. This will be followed by some insightful mindfulness practices and meditation. Then we will engage in the feelings and go through a 30-45 minute breath work portal. This is a transformative experience from the roots of Yogic practice. No experience necessary, you will be supported the whole way through. Then we will come back together and there will be some practical tools shared for deeper connection to the Natures Rhythms based on ancient wisdom traditions and permaculture knowledge.
