Awakening the Sacred

  • Through ceremony and ritual we will invigorate the sacredness of the land and each other. Honoring all life throughout these potent 48 hours with three ceremonies. 
  •  Serving local fare of pure (satvic) foods to support your health and bodies natural cleansing. We do accept request and you may also bring your own food to cook on site. 
  • Visit local primative hotsprings and bask in the beauty of nature.

November is Indigenous Heritage Month.

November 1st is Diwali a Hindi Holiday to honor the light that prevails in the darkness.

November 2nd is a Mexican Holiday Day of the Dead to honor the ancestors that have passed on. 

Itinerary

November 1st

  • Arrival 8am- 11am
  • 11 am in the Healing Barn Gentle Yoga
  • 12 pm-1:30pm Opening Circle 
  • 2pm -3pm LUNCH break 
  • 3:33 pm Taos Round Dance with Eagle Star Singers: This is a ceremony of celebration brought to us by the indigenous Tewa people of Taos Pueblo. We will dance in a circle around the drum to awaken the spirits of the land. They will share songs and stories to remind us of this sacred circle of life. 
  • 5:30 pm DINNER
  • 6:30 pm Evening Yoga & Meditation to honor Diwali and the light that prevails in the darkness
  • 7:30 pm- 9pm Quiet time solo OR come by the fire to share stories, song and prayer. 

November 2nd

  • 8- 8:30 am Morning Meditation in the Healing Barn 
  • 9 am BREAKFAST
  • 11 am Yoga in the Healing Barn 
  • 12 pm-1:30pm Day of the Dead: Sacred connection, prayer, and altar making: Honoring the Ancestors through a ceremony with an invocation to your own indigenous heritage. 
  • 2pm -3pm LUNCH break 
  • 3:33 pm Teachings on Elements: Looking into the micro and macro cosom. This lecture is based on the ancient studies of Yoga, Ayruveda, Yin and Yang, and the fractal science of the "Wuxing" Five phases. We will dive into personal archetypes and the correlations to emotional patterns, mental attitudes, and how to balance your elemental pattern. Connecting to the elemental forces and finding the quietude to listen to your intuition and be guided by a higher power. 
  • 5:30 pm DINNER
  • 6:30 pm Evening Yoga & Meditation to invoke your sacred presence and connect to higher guidance. 
  • 7:30 pm- 9pm Quiet time solo OR go out to the Montezuma Hotsprings for an evening soak by the river. 

November 3rd

  • 8- 8:45 am Yoga and Morning Meditation in the Healing Barn 
  • 9 am BREAKFAST
  • 11 am Closing Circle: A space to be heard and witnessed in all the sacredness that you are. A blessing will be given to each participant at the end of the circle.
